Trackers is about awareness. It tells you what is there so you can decide for yourself.
- It shows which known advertising and analytics trackers are inside each app, and which vendors they are.
- It does not block or remove trackers. What you do next is your call.
- It cannot promise to find every tracker.
- It does not show what an app is doing right now, and it does not detect voice or location tracking.

What is a tracker?
A tracker is a software component built into an app, usually supplied by an advertising or analytics company. Examples of vendors Arjuna looks for include Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, AppLovin, ironSource, Firebase and Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude and Flurry.
Does Trackers stop apps from tracking me?
No. Trackers shows you what is inside your apps. It does not block or remove anything.
Does Trackers work offline?
Yes. The check runs entirely on your phone. Nothing is uploaded and no internet connection is needed.
Which phones does Trackers work on?
Trackers is available on Android only. It is hidden on iPhone, where there is no equivalent.

How is Trackers different from App Permissions?
App Permissions shows what an app has been allowed to access, such as camera, microphone, location or contacts. Trackers shows which advertising and analytics tools are built into the app. Neither shows what an app is doing right now.
